Crafteire Weekend...

Just back from a great weekend in Tullamore 'Crafteire' the annual get together with all the crafty nuts I know around the country. It was great fun and I enjoyed the luxury of an executive room at the hotel instead of the usual b&b - much handier for depositing stash when it starts to build up around you LOL! All of my classes were great this year and the kits had loads leftover so happy bunnies all around. Just some of what I made this weekend

Amber Jane's funky Summer layout using the fab Pop Culture papers - my new favs!

Loved this class with Eva using the elegent 'Life is Beautiful' papers. I bought loads of these as I love the texture.

This was Annamarie's class for Crafteire using the latest K&CO papers. She used a photo of my daughter Lucy as it matched the papers so well and now I am lucky to get to keep this for her album. It's a beautiful and cleverly designed multi-layered transparency LO - the photo doesn't do it justice. Will find a better picture..

When we arrived on Friday evening we were given 3 sheets of paper and challenged to design a LO or card using just these papers and to create our own embellishments. Tricky enough as they are not my usuals but I liked the end result - the birdie is cute!

Another one of Amber Jane's class using Fancy pants and I loved how this one finished up - gorgeous textured papers and lovely diecuts to go too.

And this was Eva's other class using these lovely cheery papers. I chose the alternative kit just 'cos I like Blue (no surprises there really!LOL!). The photo matched perfectly which is always a bonus!

And this was Jane Dean's wonderful mosaic box masterclass. I really wasn't sure about this on Saturday night as my tiles were looking a little shrivelled but it all came good when I started using the stickles. I cheated with the black and white tiles - life's too short for making pastry! :-)

Great to see so many faces -old friends and new. As always we didn't even pop our head out of the hotel for the 3 days we were there!
