Easter Bunnies...

Just back from another lovely weekend with Niamh and Ollie in New Ross and it was a bonus to have Easter to celebrate together. The kids were thrilled to see each other as always amd the first thing we did was go for a walk up a mountain (well a little one!) called Carrig Byrne. The view was great even if the footwear wasn't entirely suitable ;-)

The next day, Easter Sunday we went to see friends Susan and Euan where they played hostess with the mostess with hot freshly baked scones and a fab Easter egg hunt for the kiddies. They were busy bunnies trying to find every last one of them. Susan has a great eye for detail and none of the detail was spared to make the kids feel special.









There was even a bunny pinata which went down a treat - and here is the moment when it opened much to squeals of delight from the little ones.




After the egg hunt we went for a stroll in Woodstock near Inistioge where we had a lovely ramble around the walled gardens. It's such a great park for a day out!






We finished up our weekend with a spot of lunch in Kildare outlet village and some yummy Italian food.
