Heroes... We just heard this weekend that my cousin's organs were successfully transplanted and a 58 year old is now enjoying a new lease of life as a result of my cousin and his family's generousity. So the message is carry a donor card ;-)
I have about 5 donor cards in my purse. Just in case there was any dispute. Also have discussed it with my Mom and OH. They vow to accept it after my death. Have signatures from them both too. Such a worthwhile thing to do. And obviously a hard thing to do when someone is taken so young. I hope your cousin's family can take some peace or something that his death hasn't been a waste. He is helping someone to live. A precious, precious gift. x x x
